Pixie 4.0 is official

Nattyware has released the new version of Pixie. In case you haven’t heard about Pixie before (where have you been the last decade?), it is a color picking utility. “Best in Singapore, JB and some say Batam”.

Go get yourself a copy at http://www.nattyware.com/pixie.php and do not forget to check the “Support” section for online help.

I happened to run into this post after I wrote up a list of some of my favorite software. Just wanted to pass on my love of Pixie. It’s been a great help in those times when I just needed a color quickly. Keep up the good work!

Hello,
I use and enjoy your utility. If I may suggest an improvement, the pixel coordinates could be relative to the active window and not to the whole desktop (which could be mapped when all windows are minimized). This can be very useful when working on graphic files with an image editing program, to know on which point of the active image we are working on.
