An analyst, a researcher, an author, an advisor.
Began in 1987 as a hardware technician to satisfy my passion in radio electronics, signals and communications, I had a lot of fun with telemetry, control and monitoring devices as well as with analog computers. Doing sophisticated hardware also required programming so I got addicted.
Over years I developed software, designed and built information systems of various kind from technology automation to business processes. I learnt to appreciate robust and convenient simplicity.
In early 90s, a combination of few certain skills together with acquired experience and love for problem solving involved me in Information Security as one of the most challenging fields with instant impact.
I spent a great deal of time participating in multiple security projects for clients in government and private sectors around Asia. Currently I work on research and development in cryptography, multi-factor authentication, secure devices and other aspects of information security.
I'm a member of the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR), a member of the Independent Software Developers Forum (ISDEF) and a former member of the Russian Cryptology Association (Ruscrypto).
My past and present affiliations, in no particular order: D'Crypt Pte Ltd, TruSecure Corp (Verizon Business), Spynote, Encentuate Inc (IBM Tivoli), Nattyware, AsiaInfo ISP, etc.
